If you’re wondering, every summer we try to take some time off to spend family time with our son. Owning your own business has many benefits, but we sacrifice a lot in our personal lives on a regular basis. Taking spring and summer breaks helps us keep life and work balanced.
As always, we are closed weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Rylan will be out of town for a work conference. Eileen will operate Equilateral Friday, April 12th through Sunday, April 14th with a friend. Please take into consideration that orders may take a bit longer due to a new person working but we wanted to offer some open hours during this time.

Espresso machine broke during service. We have an appt Thursday, Feb 1st with the technician and hopefully it will be fixed.

Hello, we will be closed Wednesday and Thursday this week.
In previous years, we stayed open for every “holiday” as we were one of the only places open those days. Lately, more and more shops are staying open, so there isn’t really a need for us to stay open any longer. Instead of us dragging our kid into work with us on his break, we will take the time off to spend at home with him.
Thanks for understanding and remember, Chico (and our cafe/gallery/plant nursery) is located on the stolen land of the Mechoopda tribe.

Rylan is going out of town on Friday afternoon and won’t be back until Saturday afternoon! To address any ideas on how we can stay open, Saturdays are far too busy to work solo or with a fill in who isn’t fully trained. Plus, we’re all good closing for good reason :)
Our son is finishing up elementary school and his school scheduled his promotion ceremony right in the middle of the morning! We’re going to have a half day so we can attend. We plan to be open 10:30am-2pm but will open sooner if we are able. Check our Instagram (@equilateralcoffee) for updates that day!

UPDATE
As of 11/26, Noah is also sick and staying home from school. Be back as soon as possible—which, right now, is looking like Friday, December 2nd.
We will be closed on Friday, November 18th! Our son, Noah, made it into the next round of the AgriBee, and will be competing in a county wide event. He’s more important than work, and we want him to know that. We will be cheering him on in person, instead of from afar. Thank you for understanding!
